Acura RDX
Is a compact crossover that has been produced since 2006 by the Japanese automaker Honda under the Acura luxury brand. The car is built on the Honda CR-V platform and is positioned as a city car with an increased level of comfort and equipment. Acura RDH belongs to the class of compact crossovers of the premium segment and competes with such models as BMW X3, Audi Q5, Mercedes-Benz GLC. Over the years of production, the car has gained wide popularity among motorists due to the combination of elegant design, advanced equipment, spacious interior, powerful and economical engines, as well as an affordable price in its class.
Technical characteristics of the Acura RDX
The exterior attracts attention with a stylish and dynamic design with Acura's signature grille and aggressive body lines that give the car a sporty character. The silhouette is complemented by neat stampings on the sidewalls and spectacular light-alloy wheels. The interior of the RDX is dominated by high-quality finishing materials, an ergonomic layout and many comfort systems. The basic equipment includes dual-zone climate control, a multimedia system with a touch screen, a rearview camera, cruise control, a keyless entry system and engine start. Safety options include frontal collision prevention systems, lane keeping, blind spot monitoring, hill descent control and other advanced assist technologies.
During production, the machine changed three generations:
I (2006–2012). The car was offered in a crossover body and was equipped with a turbocharged in-line 4-cylinder engine with a volume of 2.3 liters and a capacity of 240 hp. Fuel consumption in the combined cycle was 10.2 l/100 km. The car was equipped only with all-wheel drive and a 5-speed automatic transmission.
II (2012–2018) The model received a V6 engine with a volume of 3.5 liters and a capacity of 273–279 hp. depending on the modification. The crossover was offered with front or all-wheel drive. The transmission is a 6-speed "automatic". Average fuel consumption increased to 10.7 l/100 km.
III (from 2018) The crossover is equipped with a turbocharged 4-cylinder 2.0 engine (272 hp), which is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. It has become more compact, but at the same time it has retained its internal capacity. Fuel consumption decreased to 8.7 l/100 km.
